What companies make an electric start kit for a Knuck motor?  I found one company.  It was like $2k.  Are there any cheaper kits on the market?

Leave it a kicker unless its a big incher or you have a leg problem.Keep the kicker look,it goes with the age of the machine. If running an original horseshoe oil tank, you may have clearance problem for starter, starter could be too weak depending on type, primary tin if used will have to be cut. This will be on top of kit cost.

That's the kinda response I figured I'd get.  I was just checking my options.  It is a big inch stroker motor.  Right at 100ci.  I probably will leave it kick start because I don't have $2k to put down on an electric kit.  Thanks for the input.

I am all about stock configuration however if you can kick a 100 C.I. Stroker on a regular basis you are a better man than I. Got a friend with a 93 C.I. Pan we are always waiting for him to get it going.

I investigated that starter setup but could neither afford it nor could I figure a good way to fit it without screwing up the oil tank. You might look into compression releases, they help a lot on bigger high compression engines.
