Well it is raining all day, so I decided to get the Syn3 out of my trans and fill her back up with Mobil 1 75/90.
Just had it serviced at 1100 miles went back with Syn3 in all 3 holes. Bikes got 1470 miles on her now, and the more I read about Syn3 in the trans, the more I wanted it out of there. I kept Syn3 in the crank and primary, I think it's decent oil for them. I've got 5 quarts that came with the bike so I'll use it till I use it up then got to Mobil 1 in all 3 holes.
What did read about using Syn3 in the tranny? I used it in my Ultra for a few years and never had any problems. Sold the Ultra last year and now have a Dyna and planned on using Syn3 for all 3 holes also. Let us know where and what you read about using Syn3 in the tranny, might make the change also.
