Of the switches returned for warranty ~90% have the button/tip broken off, this breakage can only happen when the person installing the right side controls back on the vehicle is not following published procedures and cautions in our service literature. This is not considered a warranty situation! Do not warranty the switch for a broken button/tip. DO NOT REMOVE THE SWITCH WITHOUT PLACING A 5/32 INCH (4.0mm) CARDBOARD INSERT BETWEEN THE BREAK LEVER AND THE LEVER BRACKET. REMOVAL WITHOUT THE INSERT WILL RESULT IN DAMAGE TO THE RUBBER BOOT AND PLUNGER OF THE FRONT STOP LIGHT SWITCH. Post #: 1 Login OR Register now to post a reply to this forum topic.
