Default RE: transferring mp3s?

I have an SD card reader, via USB. I can't remember if it came with software or not to be recognized by the PC? However, considering that it is recognized by the computer, the way it works is you have to click on the MP3 file(s) you want to copy, andthen right click the mouse and go to copy. When the MP3 has been copied into memory, go to the SD card reader (find it in Windows Explorer) click on the card and right click and paste it onto the SD card.

I hope that makes sense, otherwise I could do some screen shots for you. But the secret is you have to copy and paste. You can't drag the file over and drop it, because the SD card actually reformats the MP3 for the device that uses the SD card.

It is different than copying files to a CD. Let me know if that doesn't make sense and I can show you by example of screen shots.

it will usually take the computer a while to load the files needed to recognize the reader, but it'll work eventually...kind of like trying to start out in 2nd gear. also, the reader should appear as an additional drive under My Computer
