Default What shop lifts would you recommend?

Spring (Tax Return $) will be here soon and I'm looking into buying a shop lift.
I'm NOT looking at the small garage style lifts - Craftsman ect...
I'm NOT into the small style Kendon portable ones either.
I'm looking into a full size lift with a front wheel vise and a rear tire dropout.
Dandy makes a nice one - any others out there that you have experience with?
Hydraulic or air?
Air is no problem in my shop - I have a really nice compressor so that is an option.
Chime in and let me know what you recommend.

Thanks for the advise [sm=thanx.gif]

I bought last year the model TCMLW at Complete Hydraulics. It is a 1500# rated, 105 inch with drop out, service jack, and wheel vise and comes with 2 12" side extensions so that you can ride the bike on the table easily. The price ($599) was excellent, quality excellent, and super fast shipping. It is a Handy clone but with lots of extras. Their website is http://www.completehydraulic.com/tcmlw.html. If the link doesn't show in the post, just go to completehydraulics.com . Jerry

Jeff, the lift is built like a MacTruck. In fact I think the hydraulic cylinder must be off a MacTruck, it is huge. I use a small Craftsman 1HP 3Gal air compressor and it lifts the big Ultra no problem. The reason I like this deal is that I have limited space in my workshop, so I wanted something to daily park the bike on also, and having the 2-12" side extensions really makes it easy to ride the bike onto the lift and plus them throwing in the accessory jack for getting the rear tire off the ground really sweetens the deal. I did change out the front vise with a Wheeldock so that went I daily park the bike on it I just ride it into the Wheeldock and get off...no worries about having to get off and hold the bike while I close the wheel vise. Jerry

That's your opinion, but I would put mine up against the Handy anyday, if fact in some areas I think it is built better than the Handy. With the 900+ lb Ultra on it, it is rock solid and with all the accessories, it is approx $500-600 cheaper than the Handy.
