actually no. I found a complete setup including seat, mounting brackets, rear tourpak platform and air canister , and rear air bladder for $135. This was a new bike take-off.

Very good price. Glad yoou found what you need.
You will definitly enjoy the cop seat.
Mustang makes a matching passenger seat, same houndstooth design etc, looks good.
My SO wants to know why her seat doesn't have air ride, sheesh will it never end ?

A friend of mine is a motorcop instructor and expert classmotorcop competitor. I learn a lot of slills from him and going to the police seat has some handling advantages. So I wanted one to use sometimes instead of my Mustang solo. Unless you were shown the techniques of advanced bike handling you probably would not realize the seat position as critical to tight handling of a bike. I enjoy working on that now.

SVO, just an FYI. Installing and removing the Police seat is not a simple task. It will take you close to an hour due to the fact that the bladder is installed from under the battery box. Also, if you are not aware, there are some nuts that have to be pressed into the frame, under the wiring harnessby the dealer so the front part of the seat can attach to the frame.

I ran that seat for about 3000 miles. Around town it was a great seat, but out on the highway it put me too high in the wind and caused much fatigue. I later switched to a Corbin saddle.

BTW, I took the Police Motor Course and do understand the benefits of the "Official" police seat.

Good luck with it. If you need any help with the install PM me, I will walk ya through it.

Completed the install today and will ride 200 miles sunday. Will probably redco the seat padding to suit me better. My brother in law does that for a business on bikes. Nice to have an air ride suspension. thanks for the info.
