If your ever at the range or just out playing and dont have any hearing protection you can do this.I stick a round in my ears(45s work real good) might look stupid but then i can hear those who say it does.
Ps dont do this in lightening storm,might blow your brains out

I haven't smoked in well over 20 years but, I used to use the filters. Works great in a pinch.

I was never a fan of putting live rounds in my ears so I always stuffed two empty cases in. Nothing less than .45 worked for me though.I have big ear holes I guess.

like i said live rounds fine just not in eletrical storms.
