hard ass rigid
thought you would enjoy the pic. it is the most uncomfortable ride ever!!! i thought it would look cool to do a rigid with a solid mount seat and will never recomend it to anyone..ever! i went for all look and no comfort, so my kidneys are paying for it. the bike im building now is a soft tail...learned my lesson

RE: hard ass rigid
Didn't bother me til my ass shrunk, I now have added some foam to the Cobra and it's just fine. At 60 I'm ready for a softer seat, will have mine redone while I'm rebuilding the chop after my accident. The main problem I've had is when you hit a big bump it wants to slam you back into the fender, padding at the ass holds you in the seat. I just never liked the spring seats much. Just a personal thing.

RE: hard ass rigid
yeah, that seat ain't what I'd call a keeper. If you do up a real seat, you might like it a little better.
If the fender can support it, a King/queen with back support. you can add some gel and three inches of foam. Have you ever given any thought to flipping the headlight over? Just curious. But it is one baddd baddd ride... |
RE: hard ass rigid
What is the tooth count of your final drive sprockets? How do you like the match?
