Hi all,
Sorry for my absence. I did not kidnap the mascot and hold it for ransom, honest. I just was unable to keep tabs on the forum for a while, but all is well and I'm back. I've PM'd everyone who contacted me, and cross posted on all the threads that were wondering what was up with the mascot, so hopefully I have pulled us all back on the same page again. Grover (Bakersfield area)and Jaybobo7 (Lemoore area) have both offered to get it moving again, and I'm open to any suggestions. We will get it moving again, and hopefully soon. I sincerely apologize for creating any anxiety over the mascot's whereabouts. The mascot will ride again, and soon!
Tim
I would like Grover to get the Mascot. He's been trying to get in contact with you for awhile and is an Admin here. Get it to Grover and he'll keep it moving.
Yup, I have been juggling all the PMs and emails, etc. I'm thinkin' that I pass it to Grover, he can pass it to Jaybob07 in Lemoore, he can pass it to Homee in the Bay area, maybe the Bay area meet and greet as suggested, then it goes north from there. How's that sound?
It was a temporary situation, but shouldn't be a problem any longer. I'm looking forward to meeting someone else from the forum, and passing the mascot along. I really wish I could get it north myself. I have family in the Seattle area that I'd love to visit, but won't be happening in the foreseeable future. Guess themascot will make it up that way before me.
Nice to hear that you are back on. I am on duty weekend this weekend so I will have the next 5 weekends free from work, hopefully. I guess the only thing we need to do now is pick a date and everyone on board and get the mascot moving north.
Great work guys. Thank you TuffSporty for getting the mascot moving again. Be sure to post up the pics you all have of the meet with you , Grover and Jaybob07. Thanks to all of you for toughing out the cool ride. I know what those desert mornings are like down there. Ride safe brothers!
