Tourpac is truly Modular.

Hidden things done on your bike that no one really sees but yet give great satisfaction toyou as a rider are hard to share some times. Long story so I'll try not to bore to bad. I never really had a detach kit till this last bike Ibought. You know how we want it all.I wanted to have anEG that would strip down and yet very quickly go back to ultra mode and then some. Why can'tyou get a tour pac mount to go whereYOU want it too. Off the bike, orignal location, or in a solo positionand yet adjust easily forward and back. Who wants to constantly be wrenching in order to relocate their tourpac? I couldn't take it. Makes you wonder where HD's engineers heads are at. They come up with this new Rocker and it's so called hidden passenger seat and redesigned crap.......oops. Better quit on that rant......anyway, back to the project. I'vedid this modification done to the bike about 30,000 miles back. Up till now it was just that. Well winter kills me so what the heck. Take the stuff off and get it chromed. Ya can't see it when the tour pack is on cause it's all underneath. But hey! That's why we get on this forum........to share!..........So here it is in all it's glory. I'm sharing.George Anderson has nothing on me!.....hahaha.......Asmy tourpac modlets the tourpac go all overthe place with movement within it's stationary location. Was a fun project and frustrating at the same time. No one really notices itcause it's all hidden. But geesh!........I love it and had to brag!..........[sm=ts.gif]

Very nice. Is that a seat rail kit?

I yanked the seat slides off a forktruck and cut them up to fit the need............

That's a damn simple solution to an issue it seems almost everyone is facing.
I really like that idea and someday when I get my touring bike (someday :D) I will be 'borrowing' your idea.

Thanks for sharing!

Great job! I like to see people solving their issues by hard work and great ideas instead of just complaining all the time.

Ahhhhhh. Believe me, I did my fair share of whinning while I was fabricating. I'm a maintenace man for a printing company and that's all I do is fabricate and wrench all day. Is the last thing Iwanted to do on this bike. Just want to get on it and ride. But..........I want my comfort as I'm getting old. hahahaha.......But hey...Thanks for the complement. It was for the most part a fun project. Just the little things get to ya.........
