I purchased a 2005 FLHRCI three weeks ago. I have been getting acquainted with it both solo and with my wife behind me. I am thrilled with the performance and the sound. Here is what the bike has: Rinehart Truduals, 1450 Stg. 1 EFI kit, EFI Race Tuner, Stg. 1 A/C. No other mods that I am aware. The Dynojet Research chart says: Max Power = 78.72 hp; Max Torque = 83.73 ft. lbs. It looks to me like the HP maxs at 5780 rpms and the TQ maxs at 3750 rpms. My gas mileage has been running 45 mpg plus/minus 2. I am thoroughly satisfied and will probably leave well enough alone. After a year of riding Sportsters, this bike has the feel of an old friend. I am very pleased in all aspects. Hope you guys will welcome me to the ranks of the "Touring Bikes". The bike is Sierra Red Sunglo in color. My wife said that this RKC is the first bike that she feels totally comfortable on whether driving or riding. ........................ Big Cholla

It was HOT at the shop today. Tuner said #'s "could have been marginally better, had it not been so hot & humid today"..... NOne-the-less, it is what it is... HP: 100.8 TQ: 100.6 Anyone in the North Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma area that needs an AWESOME PC tuner.... I HIGHLY receommend Sabin Performance in Dallas. He tuned both cylinders across the RPM range at all the normal throttle positions. I know "that's what they are suppoesed to do, but this guy knows his $hit and is reasonably priced! Thumbnail Image

New to this site for the first time. Just had my 06 Street Glide dyno'ed by Dr. Dyno down at Mrytle Beach, just to make sure I wasn't running to lean after adding SE slip on mufflers and an low restriction air cleaner. I am not worried about making gobs of horsepower or torque just an efficient engine. Max Torque, 78.49; Max power 69.16. Fuel to air mixture was spot on, so no need for a power commander or stage I remap. Screaming eagle slip on part number 64903-99 and screaming eagle chrome air cleaner bacer plate with a drag specilaty low restriction air filter part number 1011-0528, since screaming eagle air filter is not reuseable anymore. Another note, H-D is discountinuing all of its screaming eagle mufflers and pipes after May 06[image][/image]

I just got my bike back from the Sabine Performance DYNO shop in Dallas (http://sabinperformance.com) and BOY-O-BOY I couldn't be happier. This is soooooo much better than I expected. MY GOAL: Low end TQ on a BUDGET. Here are my MODS: 2005 FLTRI 95" TC; SE Flat Top Pistons Arlen Ness Big Sucker D&D 2.5" slip-ons Andrews TW26a Cams PCIII USB (w/ Rev extender) Stock ECM Stock Heads Stock Rods RESULTS: 98.1 TQ 81.8 HP Did I do good or WHAT??? (er....I mean with PhilM's help of course ) The thing that I noticed most is my 2.5k to 3k RPM range. I enter 90 about 2750 and I hit mid 90s about 3k. I think I reached my goal of low end TQ on a budget! MAP LEGEND Green is baseline with Big Sucker, D&D exhaust, and PCIII only! generic MAP; 88"; stock Cams Red is pre-tuned generic MAP for 95" and TW26a cams Blue is post-tuned custom MAP with above specs (After DYNO)

HP = 88.43 TQ = 91.63 I put the pipes, air cleaner, and PC on myself last summer. Had the engine work done during the xmas break and used my tax refund to pay for it. Had it done by the local HD dealer. Don't care much for the dealership as a whole, but I do like and trust the service manager and the mechanics. They used a map they downloaded from PC that was close but had a Woods cam. They didn't want to do the dyno 'til I broke it in again. It had a big hole in the 2400-2900 RPM range, then it would break your neck. I got a lot of it out but finally got the dyno tune done last week (3,000 miles later). Sweet! I'm tickled with the power and the smoothness of the curves. It's a real joy to ride now. I was hoping for 90 HP and didn't miss by much. I've never had a flash or bumped the rev limiter, but based on the curves, if I did, I probably would have gotten the 90 HP out of it. I don't see the need on a bagger though. I'm adding an oil | | |
