Default Too many AR's to choose.

I'm looking for a "black gun" before Hillary gets elected.....

I think I have decided on the Stag M2. What AR do you have and have you had any problems? Any Stag owners out there want to chime in?

The only concern I have is the 5.56 mm. Kinda wimpy in my opinion, but I do have a few Coyotes hanging around......

I know DPMS and Barrett offer .308 and 6.8 PPC versions, but those are pretty expensive to shoot, so I think I'll stick with the 5.56.

I have a Bushmaster M4that my work provides. We have an armory full of them and never have any troubles out of them. We just got a nice shipment of 11.5" barrel entry carbines on Friday. I sure wish mine was one of those, but I still can't complain abouta free rifle, free Trijicon Reflex site, and ammo to burn.

Bushmaster here, also. Great gun. 5.56 will do the job!

Never fired or owned a Stag.

I have 2 Olympic Arms and a Colt H-Bar.

Thinking about one of the S&W ones.

There are alot of dead badguys that would not agree with you that the 5.56 is wimpy.

If you want a larger caliber, go with a M-14 or FAL type rifle.

Check out www.lwrifles.com, its a LWRC, AR with a gas piston. The gas piston operates the bolt instead of hot gas gumming up the receiver and bolt.
Cost more but worth it.
Bushmaster also makes a gas piston, however it has a switch for hot or mild loads.
LWRC can handle any type of ammo.

Bushmaster and Olympic Arms here, both are great weapons. BB

I have built several Stags and think that they are fine weapons.I have hung on to one for my own use since the ejection port is on the Left side..The Lowers are high quality,so you can add just about anything that you like. That is why the AR platform is so nice..Load up on some Hi Cap Mag's and some Ammo and you should be all set..
