I have a 06 electraglide my back wheel has pitted from the brake
dust? any suggestions on cleaning it,I have tried some metal cleaner not much luck, help

I just spent a few hours polishing and waxing my rims due to some salt. It was bad. I used some metal polish I got from a guy at the polar bear rides and it worked pretty good. i guess any metal polish or maybe polishing compound would do the trick. If you can get a small enough buffer to work on just the rim and not goof up the tire, thats the way to go. wont take that long, but if you do it by hand it takes forever.,,

I have used this stuff with good results, on my e-glide. After I worked on it, I decided I would never do it again, and got Lyndel brake pads for no dust..
