I am from frozen Winnipeg Canada,My Road King and Ialong with a buddy and Repsol crotch rocket something or other are going to Las Vegas and LA in late april. We are looking for nice scenic rides from Vegas. 30-150 miles would be good. Will be there for approx 4-5 days.

30-150 miles is not much of a ride ... but take a look at Las Vegas Harley - theyshow some local rides that might fit that criteria:
+ Mt Charleston might be your best bet ... you can make a loop out of this and see some nice terrain.
+ Red Rock Canyon
+ Valley of Fire
+ Overton and back by Lake Mead
+ Death Valley (more than 150 miles rt)
As a local, I can agree with all of the spots stated above. If you want to go just a bit further (round trip) I would also suggest stepping over into Utah and visiting Brice or Zion National Parks - Some of the best roads, outstanding views and scenery around. Valley of Fire and Red Rock canyon are both good but yeah... what's up with a 30 miles ride? Of course, you might be too busy playing to ride eh?
30 Miles was just a minimum if there was any sights in the area. I will definately check out Bryce and zion. I dont want the buddys arms to get tired on the rice rocket
We might be out the during that laughlin river run, dumb question buy is it like a Sturgis rally?

The River Run actually starts April 23rd and runs through the 27th. We will be there to hang around on the 23rd. Need a Laughlin River Run Patch to go along with our Iron Butt Patch! LOL...
