It's the Badgers' year! The third-seeded Badgers (31-4) quietly won the Big Ten regular season and tournament championships, then methodically beat Cal State Fullerton and K-State in the Midwest Regional. This was Wisconsin’s 12th win in a row and 25th in 27 games making them the hottest team in the country.
They just crushed Kansas State and made their young superstar Beasley all but disappear in the second half of the 72-55 victory. The Badgers' defense is stifling - just ask Cal State who was one of the top scoring teams in the nation and held to just 56 points.

Final Four - UNC, Kansas, Texas, UCLA
Championship Game - Kansas, Texas
Champion - Kansas
Honestly, whoever wins the UNC vs. Kansas matchup will be your national champion.....as they are the absolute two best teams in the country....PERIOD.

Well, I'm also a Badger fan living here in Milwaukee but I'm not so sure they get by KS.
BTW, Davidson is actually the hottest team in the NCAA having won almost 25 straight. Looking forward to their matchup with the Badgers tonight.

You're right........Kansas should get by Davidson today though the 'cats have made an outstanding run. Pretty good for such a small school. The next Nat'l champion will come from the winner of the UNC vs. Kansas matchup. that will be a HELL of a game, but I got to root for my 'heels. My wife is a UNC grad and even she looks forward to the games now. i guess I'm a "walmart" heels fan as I graduated from East Carolina.

It’s really nice chiming in after the Elite Eight games are over!
Bottom line: The Final Four are all great teams and have been ranked in the top five all season.
My take? UNC will beat Kansas and Memphis and UCLA will be a coin toss. But I do think Memphis is on a roll so I’ll have to go with them. (Hey, 37 wins and one loss with a high RPI rating speaks volumes)
Championship: Memphis and UNC tied at the end of regulation and who knows what will be the outcome.
It should be an excellent Final Four with all four “Number One Seed” teams participating.
