Guys, We've ran into issues with our Crossbones. Our dealer here has now stated that the crossbones and the rockers are selling for $2,000 over msrp for the 1st 30 days they are on the floor, no if, ands, or buts. It doesn't matter that we have had our name on the next flat black due into their shop which is april. I REFUSE to pay over msrp for a new harley, this isn't the 90's when you had to. I called my dealer back in IA where I have bought 5 new harleys over the years when I lived there and he will sell his crossbones at msrp. He has a vivid gloss black in now. We have decided that we are going to change the color all together and we want the bike sheet metal done in red. So many bobbers are black with red rims and we think it would lookcool red with the factory black rims.We want to be set apart from all of the flat black and gloss black crossbones that will be at every bike night and rallyin the area by mid summer. Are there any pics you guys have of a red bobber or do you have any red paint schemes you have seen or like? My IA dealer will have it painted for me for $1200-1500. I appreciate any ideas, thanks.
