So, I have one Air force jersey of my fathers. It has his last name, squadron, and rank patches on it. I want to cut up the jersey and mount my fathers patches on my leathers. Is there a prefered method for doing this, or should I just go with my wild ideas? Thaks in advance.

Good idea, there is a small patch that you can get that says "IN HONOR OF" (or something like that.) This patch should be placed above any military insignia that you put on your leather. You don't want to mislead the public in thinking that you earned the patches(or whatever military). Veterans get a little touchy when they see someone pretending to have served. Honoring your father s service is a great idea, join Rolling Thunder over Memorial Day in Washington DC and you'll get to see your fill of bikes and be able to thank all vets from all services and all wars.
