Hello all Nice forums. I am after some advice on whether a Pan restore is viable in Australia. I don't think we had all that many HDs at the time. I remember mostly old Brit bikes. I have a very recent FXDC that I love but have a spare place in the garage and am looking for a project for rainy days and to get my two boys involved. My first thoughts were a 59 - 65 Pan (something in that year range). Nothing too dead, and take it from there. First bike restore project. Have assisted my father with a 63 Chryselr (valiant here) restore. Pretty limited experience on the tools but have soem mates are Ok and one brother is a diesel fitter. What would you rate my chances re: finding a suitable opproject bke and then parts/technical assistance locally? Will I end up importing a lot of gear? What should I am for and are there any good local contact points? Cheers Luton Edit: spelling

Welcome to the HDForums Luton, hope someone from your neck of the woods gives you some answers. I know I have sold and helped ship some old Chrysler Hemis to Australia from Oregon USA I would guess most if not all will have to come from the states? Good luck.
