Harley motorcycle air horns
 

Lately I have had a lot of questions concerning Kuryakyns 115 dbl trumpet horns. Apparently many riders and dealers mistake these for air horns. Reading their advertising materials Kuryakyn publishes, their horns are referred to as air horn style horns. They are actually electro-magnetic diaphram horns. Exactly the same as stock HD horns, but with chrome plated tubes. Visually, an improvement over stock, but about the same decible rating, and if you put them behind bags, maybe not even as effective.

How many of you members were fooled by the look of these horns? I'v included pictures of Kuryakyn horns and true air horns rated at 130 db
