Default SE 110' RUNNING TEMPS

Does anyone have recorded or documented engine temps at normal running conditions. I know these bikes run hotter than normal but I;d like to hear some others that will confirm this.
Thanks, Doc

hey doc, what's happening?...since you tuned my rk I traded it for 08 fxdse2, ran it 100 miles, then switched to r&r stage 4 heads(on 96" bathtub cores), 10.7 comp, se257 cams, supertrapp, power commander...running through town at 60*F ambient, it's reached 330* at head and 220* at oil filter...I've seen guys post on cvoharley.com that stockers get to 390* at the rear head...if you've got one on your lift check ccp...they're 215# with the comp releases turned off!

edit: now I'm not sure what the temp at oil filter was...it may have been less

Thanks Skyhook, Yes I seen where you got another bike....I've been keeping tabs on you.
The temp I'm getting is up to 277 from the ECM and 345 from the infrared temp gun. It is a trike conversion and the extra weight don't help I'm sure.

Here in NorCal with low to mid 60's air temp, I am running around 230-240 oil temp on an 08 SERK. Oil gauge sender is in the sump.

I installed a HD oil cooler, maybe 2 degree differnce in temp. I raised the tank 2 inches and now it runs ten degrees colder than stock when riding, still heats up good when not moving.

Stock HD Synth, 350 according to the tmax software (head temp.) Air temp 50 degrees or so.

Now running updated map, Redline oil and I installed a Jagg's as added insurance. Not a single reading that high since the change.
