Dear Harley Forumers:
I posted about two months ago that I was on the fence about buying a Fat Bob since I have never ridden a motorcycle before. After a couple of months of deliberations with my soul, I'm buying one. I'm going to take the course when I get home from Iraq, and pick up the bike shortly there after. Thank you for the words of encouragement. Here's a picture we took just before launching on a mission over here.

Hi Matt: Nice bike choice--Fat Bobs are great looking--love the old school style and fat back tire. I looked at them, but thought the Nightster would suit me best for a first bike. The MSF course is excellent. I did the same thing--had never ridden, bought the bike, took the class, and never looked back

! Good luck with the time you have left before you come home, and thank you for your service. From the ready look or your pre-mission pic, it seems your bike is a just reward for time spent. Take care, and post pics of your new bike when you get home
