Dear Harley Forumers:
I posted about two months ago that I was on the fence about buying a Fat Bob since I have never ridden a motorcycle before.  After a couple of months of deliberations with my soul, I'm buying one.  I'm going to take the course when I get home from Iraq, and pick up the bike shortly there after.  Thank you for the words of encouragement.  Here's a picture we took just before launching on a mission over here.
Thanks again,
Matt

Hi Matt:  Nice bike choice--Fat Bobs are great looking--love the old school style and fat back tire.  I looked at them, but thought the Nightster would suit me best for a first bike.  The MSF course is excellent.  I did the same thing--had never ridden, bought the bike, took the class, and never looked back!  Good luck with the time you have left before you come home, and thank you for your service.  From the ready look or your pre-mission pic, it seems your bike is a just reward for time spent.  Take care, and post pics of your new bike when you get home !
