1985 Honda Rebel 250 in northeast Georgia
1985 Honda Rebel = $800
Wife has decided she would rather ride on the back on my Harley than try and learn to ride. So her Rebel has to go.
In good shape mechanically, no leaks, all electrical works, no smoke, transmission and clutch are good.
Not the prettiest bike around, but a great learner bike or bike for a smaller person that is ultra cheap on gas. The bike is really lightweight and easy to handle.
No title, just a tag receipt and bill of sale which is all you need in Georgia. You will have to check and see if your state requires a title.
The drivers seat has some rips, but can be used as is or recovered. Replacements seats are cheap on ebay. Gas tank has a few dents and a couple of spots of cosmetic rust on the outside, but the inside is clean and rust free. Chrome has some rust as to be expected with this model bike. The bike does not look ever to be wrecked, but looks to have been lightly dropped a couple times. Everything looks original, except it has new mirrors.
Mechanically it is great. It iscold natured like all older bikes. You have to let it warm up for a minute when is it cold outside. When it is warmer outside, you only have to let it warm up less than a minute. Tires have good tread. Cranks easily, no smoke, shifts good, overall a great bike for the price. There are no leaks. Cranks easy, quick and every time.
