Default V-rod tank decal

My bikes a vrscb and the decal on the tank is a white harley davidson transfer .I dont like this look and would like to get something like a chrome nameplate . can anyone tell me where you would get this as the dealers dont do a badge for the v-rod and i am not sure if another harley model badge would fit.

I get all my decals from ebay. You can find some decals, then click on the seller's other items and if nothing appeals to you, patience usually pays off in a couple weeks, something shows up.

See if you can get the emblems from a D. It's not a decal. Not 100% positive, but I think the DX has the same air box badge the D does. If nothing turns up here, try asking on 1130cc.com. No, I ain't giving mine up.

I'm getting ready to have mine painted. Mine is black with chrome/black Harley Davidson lettering on it that I'm going to have removed. I'm not sure if it can be removed in one piece, but if so that would be an option. If interested, let me know. I can send you a picture to see if it's what you're looking for.

By the way, the lettering is a raised letter metal badge, not a decal.....

Lisa, doesn't your badge say "100th Anniversary" on it?

I have a set of tins that have the 100th anniversary on them, but changed them out for a set of all black. I'd like to add ghost flames. The black set has the HD badge without the anniversary badges. Take a look at the photo gallery on my profile. I don't like the flames on the 100th anniversary set so they're just taking up space in the garage.
