Default Question for SERK owners

I haven't run across any SERK owners in my area lately so here's my question. I have a 2007 RK Classic and was wondering if the low profile SERK seat is comfortable and good for long distance. I really like the looks of the seat but only seen it in the catalogue and on pics of your bikes here on the forum. I would like a little more info before I get one. I know they are a little shorter in front so I'll have to get a leather tank piece for the end of the tank which I'm o.k with. Thanks

Default RE: Question for SERK owners

I put a sundowner on my 07SERK. My wife said that the factory seat was a pain in the butt. As for meI thought the factory seat was comfortable. Not much difference in the ride when Ichanged it out for the sundowner. Wife is a lot happier now and if she's happy I'm happy.

The original seat looks great, but is not comfortable on long rides. I changed to a Mustang. It sits quite a bit higher and more forward than I like, but much much better riding.

Joe,

I really like the stock '07 SERK seat. Nice and firm, nice stiching/design. Also like the accompanying rider back rest. Seats are a subjective thing. Some like it soft, some light it firm, with preferences for slope and shape all over the place. Good view of the seat:
