SINCE EVERYONE ALWAYS ON MY ASS TO LEAVE SOMETHING ST___ CANT ASY THAT WORD HERE.
I WAS WONDERING HOW MANY OTHERS WOULDNT HAVE A BIKE IF YOU WHERE TOLD YOU CAN RIDE it but not touvh the motor the paint on change in anyway. You cant sell it just ride it.
Ive had this question posed to me few times and tiold them all keep it then.Of course they where not realy going to buy me new bike either way.
I think Id loose my mind riding a 100% factory bike with no changes allowed.

I have never had a stock bike that I didn't modify in some way for either performance, looks, or both. Building and customizing is at least 50 percent of the hobby for me. But I would rather ride a stock bike than nothing at all. Sometimes stock bikes are cool as is. Night Train, Street Bob, etc. etc.
I have to agree, there isn't much I'd change about the Street Bob or the Night Rod Special. Or a Wide Glide for that matter. I love playing with things, but I love riding more.
I agree,ya gotta havethe nuts to use imagination and wrenches to build or modify a bike that says "this is me". Granted there is a few who really love their bikes as stock. Just not me.
Would I still still ride if not allowed to modify in any way? Yup. Been ridin over 35 years and aint about to quit until I cant pull it off the kick stand anymore.............
Sounds like a good topic of conversationwhile tossin down a few cold ones!!!

That reminds me of a time in '88 while riding in Wyoming on the way to Sturgis. Was about 80 miles south west of Newcastle and a state trooper pulled me and my friend over for doing 58 in a 55 zone. No ticket, but warning. My how times have changed!!!!!
