What do you want to know? Used to be an M.G. wrench so I understand them somewhat. I have always wanted to put one on my shovel but got convinced to try the S&S because of the way I rode [pre sidecar].

OK ,,,first of all it it a constant velocity carb....the best design goin!!!the carb should have come pretty much set up from factory
1st,,,install as directed
2nd,,,take up the road for a ride,,,,if too lean you will notice when hard on throtle in 2nd gear...back fire thru carb,,,plugs are white
3rd...there is an main jet adjustment on the right side of carb when lookin directly at it...clockwise in is to richen it up.....counter to lean out
these are the basics.......BUT,,make sure there are no air leaks at manifold to heads...this is the biggest concern(won't be able to dial in)
next item is I find that the recomened needle size from the chart is too lean...if using chart for a starting point,,,you will have to richen it and it will be hard starting until dialed in...
I have 2 bikes running the SU,,a 93" shovel and a 88" pan...they are great carbs,,,,,,also have spares and many parts avail......I'm the local SU guy.......hope this helps
