Default Carrying while riding, suggestions?

I carry a Glock 27 IWB. Thefront end of the framepushing up against the back of the seat makes it stick out bad. Normally my jacket covers it while riding in the winter.Last summer I wore a sleveless buttonup, which kept me from printing. My state doesn't have a law against printing, but I really don't want some soccer mom going into panic mode calling 911because there is a "biker with a gun".

Any other suggestions to carry? I have been debating on a shoulder holster, but then I am stuck wearing the button up over my t-shirt. Ankle holsters are almost impossible to get to when needed.

I carry a small Davis derringer in the inside chest pocket of my jacket. Less bulk than a pack of smokes.

They make a fanny pack style holster, not the coolest looking thing but could do the trick while riding.you could always switch back to your regular holster when you get off

Uncle Mikes makes an inside the pant holster for the baby Glocks. It's made of nylon and keeps all but about 2-3 inches of the gun inside your beltline. As long as you're wearing your shirt "out", no one will see it. The only problem is that if you're "calorically challenged" it can get a bit uncomfortable, especially in a seated position.

In GA, you have to have it in a holster of some type. Fanny pack is way out of the question. A vest with a pocket might qualify as a holster if the pocket was made strictly for that purpose. I will have to do some checking.

My holster is the Uncle Mikes, but t-shirt flap plus the seat pushing on itcan let the pistol peak out while riding. Maybe the mini-apes will help with the t-shirt flap. I may get a leather vest to help cover things up, although I don't look forward to wearing it on those hot humid Georgia summers.

I was thinking of Thunderwear, but it looks real uncomfortable.

I keep my 27 in an IWB holster, I am sure it sticks out sometimes when I am riding, but living in Va where I can open carry anyway I really do not care. I also carry a Sig 239 IWB and I am sure it sticks out a little more than the 27. If I happen to be going somewhere in which I am concerned about someone seeing a weapon I carry my Smith airweight 38 in my front pocket.

This is just my opinion and experience, but if there is one thing I have learned in 10 years of carrying it is people worry a little too much about the weapon printing or showing. Most people do not notice, most people do not pay attention. If someone were to see the weapon and call the police I am not sure they would even respond, they are aware of the carry laws in your state. If my choices are carrying where someone might notice if they are really looking or carrying in a way that I will not be able to quickly access the weapon I will risk upsetting the soccermoms.

Something you might mess with is the positioning of the holster. If I slide mine around more toward the front and less toward the back it is much more comfortable while I ride.
