Default I love my 110" SE engine!

I hope this helpsat least 1 person. Many people have complained about the 110" engine and I've even read where people have passed on anew CVO because of all of the complaints they've read on this and other forums andthat's just too bad, those folks have missed an opportunity to ownsome great bikes. I have a 2008 Thunder Mountain Custom, the Keystone model, poweredby the mightyH-DScreamin' Eagle 110" engine and I havehad zero problems. After I broke it in, around 500 miles, I hadmy local H-Ddealer change the oil & filter, dyno the bike for reference, install bigger cams,Vance& HinesBig Radius pipes, SERT and thendyno tune it. This thing is a beast andlike they say"There's no substitute for cubic inches"I could not agree more. I ride my bike almost every day, Florida rider, and it currently has over 5,000 miles on the odometer, and the only time it goes to the old H-D dealer is for an oil & filter change and I run this beast, no babying except for she's always kept spotless. So to all of you nay sayers out there, I can't understand how or why you have so manyproblems with you big inch motors, but I wouldn't give up my big cubes for anything other than more cubes like maybe one of those new Jim's 131". Good luck to all who have issues with your bikes and to those of you who are on the fence about that new CVO bike, if you like it, buy it and enjoy it and if you have a problem, rest assured your dealer and The Motor Co. will make it right. Life's short, enjoy the ride. Peace.

I'm with ya, SmokeEm! My 2008 Se Dyna is getting the SERT and Samson Legend exhaust next week then a dyno tune. I can't wait to get it back on the road and see the jaws drop further than they already do. Having the ONLY Screamin Eagle in Germany makes it even more of a blast. I'll enjoy the attention while I can!

Ride Hard, Ride Safe!

6000 miles on my 2007 CVO Dyna. Runs great. No problems. Smoother than my wifes 2006 88" Superglide. No comparison in power between the two. My next bike will also have the 110 providing they put it in the Street Glide.

I agree, 8600 miles on my 07 SEUC and NOT one problem. Reinhart Tru Duals and PCIII. Runs great now that it can breath. Maybe a cam in the future, when and if it needs motor work.

Ride Safe

I installed Rush 2.25" slip ons and a Power Commander III last summer after I had about 1000 miles on her. Pulled 100 h.p. and 112 ft. lbs. after the tuner got the Power Commander dialed in. Not bad for a basically stock air cooled Harley. Does not run hot like some people have complained about. Probably because the air fuel mixture is correct now.Put a heavy breather on it this winter. Not sure if it helps any in the power department but it sure looks tough.

Hey "GBeck", good lookin' SE Dyna, how's the riding over there in Germanyand for you "hdchit", I think you might be in luck for 2009 as I've heard rumors of a FLHXSE, we'll just have to wait and see what comes out of Milwaukee next. "Lintzra" mine seems to run cooler as well since the mods but I'm kinda use tothe heat as my last bikehad a H-D SE 103" motor, which be the way was a trouble free powerhouse as well, even aftersome mods.Be safe mybrothers!

Nice post SmokEm. Same sentiments and experience here. An '07 110" SERK with zero issues or problems after 16 months, and it is ridden year round, including in frigid weather. How it flies effortlessly at altitude up the steepest of Rocky Mountain grades is something to experience.
