Default Profile Laced vs Laced Wheels

Completing my order of a Softail Deluxe on Monday. Dealer has one in stock with laced wheels but have to wait two weeks to get one that I had wanted with Profiled Lace Wheels? When I look at the rounded front hub it looks as though the profile wheels match the "look" better. Any comments on whether Profile wheels are worth the extra $275 and the wait for my new bike? Look forward to your comments

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

A bike is an extention of a rider's ideas.

Enough of the philisophical BS.

The important thing is what YOU think is cool. The two weeks and $275 are worth it if it is what you want. If you don't wait, you will wish you had later.

Go for the profiles.

Enjoy the new ride and post some pics.

I agree...$275 against the total cost and 2 weeks won't mean anything in 3 weeks. You'll be glad you waited if'n it's really what you want.

Can they put the wheel you want on the bike they have in stock? If not wait and get the one you want is my feeling.

Profiles don't just look better, they are also much easier to keep clean. I've got 'em on my FXDWGI (standard on UK '05 models) and everyone else round here is real jealous of 'em

I'd wait and get what you want...

Here is my take. I have the profile wheels on my Classic because that is what I could get, but I like the regular laced wheels that are on my wife's Heritage better.

Just an opinion, but I would go with the regular wheels, and save some money for something else. Just depends on what you think looks the best. It's always worth the wait to get what you want.

Regards,

Bill

Just saw a 2005 Roadking last weekend with the low profile laced wheels. Great lookin!!!!!!!! Wish I could afford to put a set on my Roadglide. Seems like it's worth the wait and money.
