Wow that looked close. Looks like it freaked the guy in the closest plane as well.

Yeah, a news report said the pilot was grounded for remedial training. He claims he was coming into the formation too fast and did the manuver to cut his speed. Hmm..... right.

It was the proper manuver to control speed according to the report...It was not proper at that altitude...I thought it was part of the flyover as did most of the people that watched it.
