True. It's not even that I'm all that morally opposed to it...I kind of see it as alcohol in vegetable form. Still, I joined the military at 19, stayed in until I was 33, then went straight into federal law enforcement, so I've been subject to drug tests (and immediate firing) for the last 26 years. Prior to the military, I was more of the "jock" crowd in high school, and we just didn't do the drug thing. I'm not claiming the moral high ground (no pun intended); that's just the way it was.

I retire in 12 years, though, and I could definitely see curiousity getting the better of me.:D

I love the chit outta it. Grew up smokin the stuff but can't touch it now cuz I'd loose my job. I do miss it once in a while though.

I enjoyed my share "back then", but drug testing as a condition of employment has kept me from indulging for the last 15 years or so. I have 9 years 1 month and 29 days till retirement, we'll see if old habits die hard then.

I can relate...I'm not beating myself up over what I did when I was a kid, but I don't have any desire to put my body and brain thru that again...today, I like to be hittin' on all my cylinders, all the time...:D

I do think it's the lesser of two evils when compared to Ethanol.:DI don't currently use but definately would if it was legal.:D

A person could smoke all the pot he wanted to and still pass a field sobriety test. Just another example of our screwed up society. The word insane means knowing something causes a bad out come and continue doing it. The fact that prohabition of alcohol was removed is insane. And thats coming from a former drinker. Personally, i prefer it to drinking, but limit my intake due to lack of funds for it.

[8D]funny how everyone dosn't smoke the chit for "job reasons" because I smoked it "BECAUSE OF MY JOB" for 30 years it helped me keep my cool, funny though, I am 53 years old and I retired last year with plenty of toys in my box and a steady income for life, so in my opinion it is the #1 drug of choice to "settle you down" when your trying to get somthing done. I think the real only reason I quit was because I worry about my lungs, but I do recomend it to anyone with a lot of stress.(much better than pills)now though I just prefer a glass of crown with a few ice cubes and maybee an occasional good cigar----Capt Bob

That must have been 100 times better than anything I've ever smoked. Only thing ever made me that bad was alcohol. Cant say I've ever over done it with the weed thing. Alcohol on the other hand is a different story, it out does you. I over done it everytime I drank a few beers and got behind the wheel. And I would usually take it a lot further than that. Stupid on my part, I know. Imho the laws on weed and alcohol need to be reversed and save lives, and turn the bars into coffee and weed houses like in Amsterdam.
