77 degrees at 3p.m. yesterday on a clock in Montesano--what an amazing day[sm=smiley20.gif]! No layers, just the coat--face warmed by the sun--very fine! I think every rider in WA was out yesterday--have never seen so many bikes, and groups--was even passed by a group of at least 25 crotch rockets--all waving. Drove through Shelton, McLeary, Aberdeen, up to Ocean Shores, and back the long way around through Olympia--friggin gorgeous--didn't want to come home. Riders were so happy to FINALLY be out in greater than 50 degrees that they were waving from the other side of the HWY--d^mn, what a day[sm=smiley4.gif]. Checked the 10-day forecast--rain, rain, rain. You've got to be kidding...talk about a tease[&:]! Oh well, was a sign of good things to come!
I spent the day cruzin with some buds, said 83 in Olympia.I agree, most bikes ive ever seen in Washington.Canal was awesome and spent time in back roads around Oly. Cant wait for NorthCascade Hwy.to open.

Haven't ridden the N Cascade Hwy--heard it's one of the best rides in WA. When we finally have a steady state above 60 degrees, that's definitely one I'd like to do. Up past Bellingham and into Canada is another one...

It was an amazing day. Started out in Shelton, went up the canal, over the bridge to 3 and headed back down. So many bikes on the road. Now it's back to just commuting back and forth to work in between rain showers. Gotta love the Northwest.
Over here on the Eastside it was very nice as well ... but I was busy all weekend with the MSF safety course. It was well worth it but the mind did wonder wishing I was off cruising somewhere.
Oh,what a day. I live in Blaine Wa. Went to Deception Pass that day. Prefect day, never saw so many bikes on the before. I think everyone is ready for some decent weather. We been having rain and snow this weekend 4-19. Yea and I can't wait for the north Cascade highway to really if the weather don't change it might not ever open.[8D]
