I also just purchased a CW9 at a gunshow this weekend. I paid 395 for mine. I've priced them at local gun shops for 450-490. I think we both did well for new ones. I really love mine. It shoots well, is light, concealable and I love the smooth trigger. FYI: there are a few more differences between the CW and PM lines. The rifling in the CW is not polyangonal(sp) which is supposed to be "better" the front sight is pinned on instead of a front dovetail, the rest of the features are purley cosmetic. I shot mine at 20 yards with 115 gr ball ammo and it printed a nice 2.5 inch group with 8 shots. I have several other pistols for conceal carry. I have no doubt this one will be my new favorite. I have several 1911's, several glocks, a keltec 380 (great for pocket carry, but not real impressed with the .380). While the .40 would be more "powerful" you give up capacity of 1 round, its a bit more recoil. I wouldn't give a $.05 for the difference. After showing it to some buddies.. I think I have sold a few more. I hear they are bringing a 45 out in the CW line as well, its a bit larger. This summer they are bringing a .380 out that is comparable in size to the keltec's, but better quality... but also more $$$.
I think you got a good buy and a great piece. I think your buyers remorse will go away after you shoot it and carry it some. If you want to know for sure, you can go to
www.gunsamerica.com or
www.gunbroker.com and see what they are selling for. Keep in mind on those sites you will have to pay shipping and a fee to have a local FFL dealer transfer it.
