Default New Concealed Carry piece

Kahr 9mm. Made in the USA. Been wanting a PM9, but this is the same gun, but without the night sights. Got it yesterday at a gun show for $400, so I couldn't pass her up.

Hope to God I never have to use it, just carry it as insurance is the hope.[]

What do you guys think? Did I get a good deal? Got a little buyers remorse....[&:]

I've heard pretty good things about the Kahr's as far as concealability and 'bang-for-the-buck'.
Not sure on the price, though.
Is it in good shape?
Acouple years agoI heard that Korean cult leader Sum Young Moon(?) supposedly was a major stockholder/money man behind Kahr Arms.
I've not heard anything more about it recently.
Most likely another 'urban myth'.......

I'm not sure what you mean by it's the same gun just with out night sights? It's a PM no matter what sights it has. I not sure what the # on the slid say. It doesn't say PM9 or if it was a 40 0r 45 it would say PM40 or PM45. Can you tell me what it says?

Sorry my picture isn't focused well. See the PM45 and the way KAHR is printed different? I'm just not sure the way yours gun is stamped looks right.

I also just purchased a CW9 at a gunshow this weekend. I paid 395 for mine. I've priced them at local gun shops for 450-490. I think we both did well for new ones. I really love mine. It shoots well, is light, concealable and I love the smooth trigger. FYI: there are a few more differences between the CW and PM lines. The rifling in the CW is not polyangonal(sp) which is supposed to be "better" the front sight is pinned on instead of a front dovetail, the rest of the features are purley cosmetic. I shot mine at 20 yards with 115 gr ball ammo and it printed a nice 2.5 inch group with 8 shots. I have several other pistols for conceal carry. I have no doubt this one will be my new favorite. I have several 1911's, several glocks, a keltec 380 (great for pocket carry, but not real impressed with the .380). While the .40 would be more "powerful" you give up capacity of 1 round, its a bit more recoil. I wouldn't give a $.05 for the difference. After showing it to some buddies.. I think I have sold a few more. I hear they are bringing a 45 out in the CW line as well, its a bit larger. This summer they are bringing a .380 out that is comparable in size to the keltec's, but better quality... but also more $$$.

I think you got a good buy and a great piece. I think your buyers remorse will go away after you shoot it and carry it some. If you want to know for sure, you can go to www.gunsamerica.com or www.gunbroker.com and see what they are selling for. Keep in mind on those sites you will have to pay shipping and a fee to have a local FFL dealer transfer it.

Congrats! They are a great conceal gun. I bought mine a few months ago.

Do as your owner's manual says and get at least 200 rounds through it before needing to "trust" your new piece.

Mine has not given me any issues (FTF, FTE), and I've put a little over 300 rounds through it now.

Enjoy!
