From Glacier to Banff NP
There are four of us heading from Glacier NPto Banff NP. I wanted to know about motels from Glacier north. Wanted to take 93 up kind of the back way. Help! PM or E-mail would be fine also.

I did this trip last year and came south from Banff. We were on the east side of the mountains, I think RT#40. It is an absolutely beautiful road. Very smooth and not much traffic. We took it south to RT 22 then Rt #6 into Waterton Lakes. I highly recommend doing that route at least one way and I think going north would be the best. We did see a grizzly (not a black bear - we saw them also) on RT #40. Enjoy

Stampede is on in Calgary and hotels are full. Book rooms in advance to ensure your not riding further than you planned. When are you coming through? There is an informal bike meet with anywhere from 50 to 200 bikes every Sunday around noon in Bragg Creek.
