Default Attention "powdercoater"

I have just done my own powder coating on the frame, swingarm, and a few other componants on my '77 Ironhead. It turned out great and with more experience I should be able to elliminate the little bit of "orange peel" that I get on the smooth surfaces. I had the cylinders replaced because of the wear and I want to match the new paint on those with something to put on my sandblasted heads.

1. Do I need to worry about having a heat resistant powder or will the cylinders and heads stay cool enough to use any color available?

2. In using Eastwoods basic gun (http://www.eastwoodco.com/shopping/product/detailmain.jsp?itemID=5572&itemType=PRODUCT&am p;iMainCat=459&iSubCat=460&iProductID=5572),I've noticed more of a cloud than a spray which is pretty much what I expected from reading up on it before I got it. Will it be possible to get in between the fins?

Thanks
Rich

(will cross post this in the ironhead section where I usually hang out)

That's the good part of pcoat. The charge draws it into every nook and cranny. The bad part is it will go into threaded holes and be a bitch to clean out. Plug all holes with silicon stoppers, mask off mating surfaces and bearing mounts and you should be OK. If you don't mask the motor and trans mount surfaces, be sure to sand off all the pcoat. Its like grease and things will slide easily on it(don't ask me how I know). Been wanting to try the home unit but haven't found a suitable oven. Not wishing divorce I won't be using the oven in the kitchen!
All the red on this bike is pcoat:

Yea, the charge pulls pretty good but when I did the frame I found that it got heavy on the areas next to those nooks and crannies. The fins on the heads are very deep with minimal space between and I want to avoid overspraying the outsides to keep heat displacement to a maximum.
