I put my $$ down on an 08 SEUC yesterday, and was wondering on what size the throttle body is. Hoping it's a 58mm. Am I right ? Anyone done an upgrade on the TB yet ? I already have Rinehart's TD, and ordered the SE programmer, SE 203 cams, and adjustable push rods. But an after thought was the TB.

This will be my first SE bike, hope it's a good one, for the $$ it will have to last a few years !!

Any info would be great.....

Later,

The Throttle body is 58mm.  I put the SE air cleaner on mine only because K&N hasn't come out with one to fit the 58mm on the Screaming Eagle yet.  Good luck with your build.

58mm is soooo good! The Heavy Breather really shows off the diameter on the 110". It's a great combo for big pipes. I love it!

Im pretty sure the stock TB is 50mm..not 58mm. The 58mm is available but its not stock.

All that mattered to me was that the Heavy Breather fit and functioned well! And it sure does!

I'm quite sure that my '08 SERK is a 50mm and the '07s came with either a 46mm or 48mm.

I don't know of anyone doing a ETC type throttle body yet.  There may be but I haven't looked and I haven't read about any.

It looks like the regular bikes have a 50mm for 2008,
but what size was regular in 2007? 2006?

I have 2 used SE Air Cleaner backing plates, and am planning on buying an 08 Ultra in a few weeks, and a buddy has one.

will these TC88 backing plates not work on the 2008 50mm TB's?

All ’06 and later Twin Cams (except for ’08 FLH’s) come with a one piece 46 mm throttle body.

The poster is asking about SCREAMIN EAGLE CVO line bikes not production run. 2008 SE bikes have a 50mm TB. Believe it.
