Thanks, Dirty D

I had asked if anyone had any jets for the Cv carb that they were no longer using. Well, Dirty D said he had some stuff, and sent it off to me. He didn't even charge me for the shipping, as he said the kit was just taking up space, and he didn't need them. And yes, I said kit. When I opened the package, Dirty D had sent me an entire, brand new, thunderslide kit fromDynojet. I have read good and bad about the kit, but I am excited to give it a shot. Dirty D is a new member here, and was catching some flack over asking to trade parts. Let me just say that he certainly did good by me, and I appreciate it.

I just wanted to give a shout out, and say thanks, Dirty D...

That's great to hear! A real man helping others and asking for nothing in return. It is better to give than receive. Hats off to Dirty D... Thanks for sharing and caring!!

I know Dirty D personally and he is a stand up guy. Although I would say that he has been kinda disappointed with this forum. He jumped on here and saw some guys who were in need after I had told him about it. He said..."man I got some stuff I can send out" ..... A little while later he tries to put up a thread about him needing some stuff. His thread got kicked to the "useless" pile and sent a message that his thread wouldn't be posted... Kinda a ****ty deal.

That is exactly why I wanted to post this. He told me that he had tried to post up some stuff that he needed, or was willing to trade off, and got a less than positive response. He certainly did not have to help me out, but he did. That shows me that his heart is in the right place. Unfortunately, a lot of people are quick to judge, and condemn. He is new to this forum, and has not been treated as a honest guy. In our society of "Guilty until proven innocent", he has proven to me that he is a stand up guy. If I had anything that he needs, he can have it....

Thanks , Papa Travis. I appreciate the Props. I wont say much here because it'll get dumped in the useless pile. But im sure there are others out there that still do whats right instead of trying to get what they need. Being in the Army, I love and look forward to my time home so I can enjoy what We all love, the freedom of riding and enjoying our motorcycles, and the brotherhood that comes along with that. Im ashamed that our country has been so overwhelmed by an "I, me, now " mindset. Most have forgotten Brotherhood. Thanks again. D.
