Hey everyone,
I'm about to take the plunge and invest in a Gramin quest 2 GPS for my Street Glide.....any comments suggestions? Is the screen large enough to see at a quick glance while riding?
Thanks!

I have the Zumo 550. Designed for the motorcycle, works great, tons of features, XM, NavTraffic, Blue-tooth, MP3, great display, can easily operate with a gloved hand and H2O proof! Garmin is a great product and fully backs up their products. There is also a forum just for 'Zumologists'! www.zumoforums.com (http://www.zumoforums.com) JMHO!! :)

I can only speak for the Zumo but it appears the screen is larger and is a touch screen. It is designed for motorcycle use, has MP3 storage capability, XM capable, NavTraffic/Weather, Bluetooth for phone. Thanks!!

Smart move going with the Zumo instead of the Quest. I started with the Quest 1, I switched to teh Zumo this year, and could not ba happier. Much larger screen, easier to use with gloves on, much more storage space for routes and such, So many things better than the Quest.
Once you have it back, you can upload Custom POI Files to it. Many are available at various websites. The one that contains all the H-D Dealers in America is the most desired for most H-D Riders. Great for being on the road and needing something for the scoot...easy to find the closet dealer.
Check for POI's at http://www.poi-factory.com/
Also, the tiny set screw (security screw) to keep the unit in the cradle, is a Pain in the Rear...that tiny special screwdriver is a joke. Go to this site, register, and then the next day return and you can order a thumbscrew for it. they are only9.50 and makes putting the unit on or off much faster and easier. I remove and lock up the unit at every stop where I am out of sight of the scoot..too expensive to take the chance on losing it..

+2 on the screw and POIs! :D
I mounted mine on the clutch housing clamp (replaced the stock screws with the longer ones provided with the Zumo) with the RAM ball hanging down, so that the Zumo sits under the left side of my handlebars (I have 13" apes). When i remove the cradle, only the ball is left, and it's very inconspicuous. Here are a couple of pics.
The Zumo RULES! It's designed for use on a bike and is very user-friendly. It also tracks everywhere you've been as long as it's on.
