So finally after getting everything on Bob powdercoated black everything is going back together including my new MC Motorsports wheels and my rear 200.  My main question is on the front forks...anyone who has taken them apart i'm assuming you bought new fork seals and the little copper washers that go on top?  how much oil do i need to buy to refill the forks?

MOD list for reassembly: hopefully have some pics up soon (right now its just the frame, tranny, and primary)
and if everything runs good i'll have to take a video of a sweet holeshot rippin that 200 up!

-MC Motorsports Reaper Wheels 18x5.5 and 21x2.15
-I put some roller rocker supports in my 95" build
-Nash Gimp Hangers 18"
-everything is black besides pushrod tubes, flat gas caps, and my kickstand (THANKS TO MR. JOE KNAPP)
....if you ever need anything powdercoated...send it to him...its worth the shipping!!!!!!!!!!
-fork tube boots
-tach with shift gauge (pretty stoked about that)
-new CNC grips
-T-bags Switchback
-progessive shocks for the rear and springs for the front

any good links for some exhaust wrap anyone?

well i'll have to see how it goes tonight...might be more than one nights work!

I did my sliders about a month and a half ago and was all worried about getting into them and screwing something up.  It wasn't bad at all.   I read a lot before I did it, but it wasn't intil I got into them that things started clicking.  First slider took 1.5 hours, second took 30 minutes?

Pick up new fork seals and o-rings for the tube caps.  You will need approximately 60 ounces (four pints) of fork oil.  The correct level is determined by a measurement of the distance the oil comes from the top of the tube.  The FXDB is 4.3" from the top.  This is approximately  29.6 ounces.  Check your manual to verify this.

You will need a 12mm allen wrench for the allen head bolts accessible from the bottom of each tube.  Make sure the wrench has a long shank.

I used a bench vise with protector pads to hold the tubes while I worked on them.  These proved a little awkward, but did work.  Mud came up with a better set up.  He also offered a few links which helped me.  I will put these at the bottom of this post.

The manual calls for a HD seal installer to seat the new seals.  A piece of 2" pvc pipe worked great.

Hope, between this info, and the below link, I have offered some help.  Let me know if you have questions.

Wally, thats one of the best looking bikes i''ve seen on here. I love the blacked out look. Did you go with gloss black powder? How difficult was it to strip the dash console prior to re-coating with the non-wrinkle? i love it!
