I just finished building the bobber/chopper in the attached pic with 2 buddies.  It's based on a 1973 CB750 honda.  This has given be the bug BIG TIME to sell my current 2nd bike - Yamaha Roadstar (2nd pic) and build my own evo-based bobber.  I have looked at several rollers and see lots I like as a foundation.  Trying to weigh the pros/cons of starting with an old bike as the platform, or a new frame/engine and the MSOs, etc.

I have a question tho on the EPA BS rules regarding non-compliant bikes, etc... what kind of issues will I run into if I assemble the bike from parts?  Also have questions on insurance, etc...

If anyone has experience in dealing with this stuff, would very much appreciate some guidance/advice...
