What is a 1200 Sportster with a Velorex sidecar worth? I am picking this bike up next week to resell and I want to see about how much I can expect to get from it? It's 1993 1200 with 6K miles on it and around 3 on the sidecar set-up. It's in great shape mechanically and average cosmetically. The cosmetic issues stem from a paintjob done by a blind monkey mostly. It actually looks pretty good until you get up close and see stuff like crooked lines on the stripes....things like that. I have ridden the bike and it rides fine, I guess considering my limited sidecar experience. I don't "plan" on keeping it so if I decide to sell it about how much would it be worth? It's got a linked brake set-up so it may work for someone with a disability too, probably doesn't matter but I figured I would add that. So, round about estimates? Know anyone looking for a sidecar rig for a reasonable price, let me know. Thanks!
Oh yeah, the neighborhood kids LOVE it. Been giving them rides around the 'Hood all afternoon, even got a couple of moms in there too. Damn, if it's gonna be this popular with the MILFS I may have to keep her around for a while
Nice looking setup. Reminds me of an orange 883 w/ matching sidecar I once saw on craigslist. I was tempted to add it to my collection except I am trying not to have a collection any more. lol. They were asking I think about 7400$-7800$ for that set up.
