That's a big carb for a stock pan. The super B is a great carb for most pans, including the 88" S&S kits that make pans run incredible. I ran it for a long time with that setup and it would start first kick every time when warm, and 3d or 4th when cold. You have to get them set up correct, then forget them. Find someone to trade the E for a B and you will be a happy man on a happy pan. Enjoy, Sharon the Ruckster, staring at the new basket 50's pan. she should be done next summer....

I'm running a super "B" on my pan. But I have installed "E"s on pans and early shovels, they work just fine.

A SU carb will work on a pan just fine,,,,they are a constant velocity design and the motor vacuum decides how much fuel it needs. They also have an adjustible main jet.....it can be dialed from 74" to 88" with the same jetting, they can be replaced if you need to be richer or leaner. Dave
