Engine missfire got progresively worse. Replaced plugs, leads. would run on 1 cyl, pull lead away from plug, run fine on 2 cyl. Stock ign system. compressiion good, new intake gaskets, carby cleaned, voes working properly. Coil, pickup, wiring and module test OK as instuctions in manual. Fit new plugs run good. 3 mile ride in city to work, after 2 days starts to missfire again. Check plugs and clean (only fine deposits normal for unleaded fuel) runs good for couple of days again. Pinpoints to weak spark but coil tests within specs. Tried heating pickup and module with no difference. I dont think it is heat related, if bike is parked and then started next day still has missfire untill plugs are cleaned again. Starting to suspect module. any ideas would be appreciated.

Fitted a Screamin Eagle module tonight. Forecast for rain in  Adelaide for the next few days, hopefully I can go for a ride on the weekend.
