Do some of you use the K+N oil filter?  I saw it somewhere recently.  Chrome, and has a nut on the end for easy removal.  Are they OK to use?

Been using a K&N on my 06 SG since it was new works fine and yes it does have a nut welded to the back of it for easy install/removal...

They are the easiest cause of the nut on the back, but notice that they are made in Thailand..... your choice.

i dont think there is anything made in the u.s.a. any more and if you can find some thing that is you better buy in by the case. cuzz the next time you go buy it may not be anymore.
