Tell all the pro drag racers and road racers that have gone down anywhere from 100 to 200 mph and walked away that helmets don't help. This guy is full of it!

In my case my helmet did save me from bieng scalped by barb wire last year.  My situation might be rare but I dont ride without it.

 2 incidents:
a friend was out riding with his wife on back when a deer jumped out in front of them. he swerved to avoid contact, and crashed. she was wearing a helmet, he wasn't. she got the worst of it. in a coma for 2 mo.
another friend lost control of his bike and went down getting a concussion. no helmet.
my wife has a sticker on her helmet that i agree with "my helmet my choice". i always were a helmet. i would like to be around to at least see my daughter graduate.
its like the saying goes " you never know when your time is up". i could die in my sleep for all i know.

The guy in the video is full of shit - I been there, been down, done that and paid the price.

Helmets are a personal choice unless its the law, but if you have nothing to protect,

Dont Worry About It - Be a tough guy

I don''t know about the "truth". \\;

Wear it, don''t wear it. \\; That''s an individuals choice and I don''t believe in a Nanny State of laws.

It''s not cool to claim it''s safer to ride without a helmet though because the data strongly disagrees. \\; I''d hate to think someone was influenced by his "report" to give up riding with their helmet based on his "information"
