SERT Map needed for 98" GMR w/Tw-37
Anyone have a SERT map that runs well in a 98" and gets decent gas mileage?

2005 FLTRI 98" RevPerf kit setup for 9.7 compression GMR performance CNC ported heads Andrews TW-37 gear driven cams HD "B" lifters Baisley LMR 002 oil bypass spring Stock throttle body and injectors so far as I know SE air cleaner with ugly football cover [plan to buy a Kuryakyn Hi-five someday] Hb-125 auto primary chain adjuster HD touring mount oil cooler Vance and Hines ProPipe HS [not the new blueproof crap] SERT version 4.5.2 This kit motor has about 10,000 miles on it and doesn't use any oil that I've noticed in the 4,000 miles I've put on it since buying last summer. If you're HDMD, like I suspect you are, I know your capabilities and would be willing to buy a map from you if you have one that would fit the bill. This bike was tuned by the flunky at Faribault HD in MN. He'd tuned my electraglide before and I know his work...this one runs just like my electraglide did....great under load and at WOT, LOUSY at light loads under steady throttle. So cruising through town it just constantly stutters, surges and pops. My other bike, I had 'fixed' by Mike Roland....phenominal job...but spendy! The economy and current financial situation tells me to look for a more economical alternative than another 4-5 hour dyno session. Appreciate the response whatever the outcome. |

I try to help plus I have a lot of time on my hands at times....I did, however, tell a board member here for $50.00 I'd send him a map....hey everyone else is making $50.00 on a map and I happened to have exactly what he needed but....I never heard back from him....go figure...lol Again Thanks for you support. I just wanted to publicly acknowledge Doc's tremendous help with setting me straight. With his help, I now have a GREAT running bike and my most recent miles per gallon figure was up to 45 from an avg of 36-38.
Someday I'll take advantage of one of the 3 pull dyno specials and see what the results were, but the bottom line is I don't care what the peak numbers read so long as it runs great everywhere I need it to. |

Fifty bucks for a map that is a match is very fair. If I needed one I would gladly pay that NP.
