? for the GA. riders

Hey all,
I'm leaving for Murphy,NC Monday morn from Fl and taking 1-82-129 thru Ga into Murphy. My question is how is 129? or is there a better route. We are staying off the interstate for the run up there. Thanks

129 is good road... we take a portion of it every time we go to Helen. Stay on it through Blairsville then on to Murphy.

Mostly 4 lane with some twisties and great scenery.

Where are you picking up 129, in Gainesville or somewhere else?

Having trouble finding 1 - 82 to get to 129

Oh, got it.. 82 and 1 near Waycross....

I haven't taken 129 down that far and from the looks of it there will be lots and lots places to get lost if you don't have a hwy marker.

Walt, I will be in that neck of the woods the week of 5/4. Leaving Saturday for Cashiers, NC.
Do you have any set plans? Maybe we can hook up while you are up there. And to think I was worried that the shirts would come in and you would have you meet up for distribution while I was gone.

Hey Lee,
We will be in Murphy from the 6th -9th leaving the 10th and heading home.. The only so called plans are the Dragon, Skyway and wheels of time... I know 1 day my wife wants tohead east on 64 and look for the waterfalls..... If your somewhere in the area maybe we can hook up for lunch or a beer.... Were there for 4 days of riding doesn't matter which direction we go. IM with cell # sent.
