hey guys,  this is really one of my first posts on here. ive been on here for awhile, but never really had anything to say and have been working on a bike for the last few months and finally got it finished and out on the road. so, i just thought i would say hi and share my finished product with you guys.

its a 1945 model UL.  it was my grandfathers bike and hadn't been out of the basement and rode for the last 15 years or so, and i got tired of looking at it collect dust and wanted to enjoy it a little. he painted it and did a little bit of work to it in the late 70's and painted it a light blue to match his truck.

i wasnt too wild about the color of it, so i did some research and found out what the original color was and decide to do a little resto work. lemme know what you guys think.

Hey, Dan,

I think it's cool that the old gent wasn't afraid to customize it to his liking. It looks like he did a pretty good job of it. But, your work is absolutely stunning! Give yourself a pat on the back!

I hope I can do justice to my WL project. I'd wanted to have it at least roadable, by now. But, the shop I was building got knocked down in the storms of November. I may still get a ride or two in, this summer.

What more do you have to do on your UL? It really looks pretty complete. More pics would be nice.

Regards,

Jim
