Hey Guys
Just picked up my Deuce from the dealer for 10,000 mi service and they detailed the bike N/C. Just wondering if this is something they all do. This guy came out and had me fill out a rating card on how well of a job they did detailing. It's so clean I thought I'd take a pic!

PS There's them ugly crash bars that save the day once.
Not all dealers do, and even my dealer only details some of the time. The last time they did it without asking, and charged me $15.00 on an already clean bike.
The only time I will pay is if they have the bike apart, I want all inaccessable parts cleaned, so I will pay for parts cleaning. Normally I will ask if I can get in the shop to clean the parts myself, but it depends on the shop, and the mechanic. Some will, some won't, and it's their shop, so I respect their rules.
There is a HUGE diference between a detail and a wash. My dealer washes every bike they service but a detail costs $$! On a side note if that jack *** doesnt start taking my seat off before he washes my bike Im gonna get diaper rash!!! EVERY time I wind up with a wet tush after I pick it up!

That would make me pretty angry. I wonder if the manager was pushing the "if they complain, remove it, otherwise do it."
