My brother, SSG Michael J. Ward, called me from the sandbox yesterday to say that he would be back to Ft. Bragg on 5-May-08. He is attached to the 1175th Transportation Company out of Tullahoma, TN on this, his third tour. I am not really sure when they will make it to Tennessee, but I will be there to participate in a 'Welcome Home' mission with the Patriot Guard Riders when they do.
Hey that is excellent news, Wardster!
Tell him I said Thank You for his service.
Three tours, he is one of a kind big brother.
You have every right to be proud.
That is great news - Also, as the others have said, please tell him "Thank you"..Get some pic's of the arrival and with the PGR and share them with us...
Enjoy...
They made it to Ft. Bragg at 3am this morning, so all is well. Looks like they (all 200 of them) will get back to Tennessee some time next week to be reuntied with their families.
Very glad to hear that, Wardster.
Both that your brother is coming hoome and that all 199 of his brothers/sisters are making the same trip also.
Please keep us informed.
